Seattle Washington is a popular city for boating and sailing.  There are a number of marinas located around the city including one on Lake Union (below).  From Seattle, one can sail around Puget Sound, across the Juan de Fuca Strait to Victoria BC or through the Juan de Fuca Islands and the Canadian Gulf Islands.
